How Dry Desiccant Works

Dry desiccant systems use a rotating wheel impregnated with desiccant material to continuously adsorb moisture from the process airstream.

As the wheel rotates, the loaded desiccant section moves into a regeneration zone where heat drives off captured moisture.

The result is continuous, temperature-independent moisture removal — capable of delivering dew points well below what refrigeration can achieve.

When Dry Desiccant Is the Right Choice

Dry desiccant is the right technology when you need dew points below 45°F, when ambient temperatures are too low for refrigeration-based dehumidification, or when you need moisture control without refrigeration complexity.

Common applications: pharmaceutical manufacturing, defense storage, electronics assembly, archival environments, cold storage entryways.
